'Galvanneal' is a zinc-iron alloy coating applied by the hot-dip process to both sides of the steel sheet. As the standard material used to manufacture all Artek products, 'galvanneal' steel has a dull grey colour and will accept finish paint without costly pre-treatment.

For more extreme applications such as exposure to greater ambient toxicity or moisture, a bright, zinc 'galvanised' coating is available.

Artek doors and frames will accept a variety of paints and finishing methods depending on the painting specifications and locally available materials and methods. Consult your local painting contractor.
